Every Sunday night from 7.30pm the pub holds a fantastic karaoke. What better way to have some fun than to sing your heart, all are welcome to give it a go. Starting 7th June the pub is holding an inter-pub competition with cash prizes up for grabs.

Quiz Nights

Quiz nights start at the end of July so ask a member of staff for details.

Live Music

Live music nights are held every Friday evening from 9pm with bands playing all types of music. Also starting at the end of July the pub will be holding an acoustic night every Thursday. These are great nights for all you music lovers!

Although the pub does not have a private restaurant, to stop all customers from going hungry the pub serves a range of delicious meals, with something to suit all tastes, from traditional fish and chips to a simple soup and a sandwich.

The earliest recorded date for the Black Bull in Morpeth is 1712 when Morpeth held the greatest black cattle market in the North, from 1834 the Bull has held a licence as a public house and although seen many changes remains one of the oldest and finest bars in Morpeth. The Black Bull offers a full selection of draught beers, wines and spirits for your enjoyment along with a lovely range of cocktails and soft drinks for those non-drinkers and drivers. Situated on the premises there is an attractive beer garden, which is the perfect place to relax during the summer months and with disabled facilities throughout and friendly staff on hand to help, makes the pub a suitable place for everyone. To keep customers amused there is a dartboard and pool table, thats not forgetting the live music nights and quiz nights every week which are very popular and not to be missed.
