The Tavern Inn is a delightful Country Inn dating back to the 16th Century, Situated just a short walk from the heart of busy Newquay, landlord Simon and his wife Kelly and our staff offer a warm and friendly welcome to customers old and new. We have a well-deserved reputation for serving fabulous traditional English Fayre using the freshest local ingredients prepared by our excellent chef and served to the highest standards. We serve a full range of draught beers, real ales, wines and spirits for your personal enjoyment, with non-alcoholic beverages for non-drinkers, driver and children.  There is always plenty going on at The Tavern with Live Music on Friday evenings and also on Saturday evenings during the summer months.  You may also like to relax over a game of pool and a pint of real ale or chill out in the lovely beer garden, which is ideal for the summer months. To the front is a beautiful cottage garden and patio area – an ideal place to soak up the sun – and the mass of colourful flowers in the borders, window boxes and hanging baskets puts most other gardens to shame. 
Inside, the inn is equally charming; the olde worlde character of the building is blended perfectly with the new. There is no designated restaurant at The Tavern at present, however the function room and the accompanying area are capable of seating over sixty. Simon and Kelly invite you to The Tavern food specialties evenings. Due to high demand please come early to avoid any disappointment.
