The Anchor Inn is a traditional Drovers Inn dating back from 1888 and still retains a lot of its original features. Sticking with traditional Scottish pub values. The nautical theme has been kept and the open fire makes for cosy surroundings. We pride ourselves in creating a welcoming friendly atmosphere and serve draught beers, wines and spirits. From the kitchen we provide an exciting menu to choose from and all our produce is sourced locally whenever possible.  At the outset of purchasing the Inn we focused on building the accommodation side of the business and now have a total of fifteen new rooms all off which are fully ensuite. They have been built to a highly modern standard and are tastefully decorated again with a nautical/Scottish theme. Six of these rooms command stunning views over the Gareloch and the surrounding mountains.
