Inside The Charlaw Inn you will find a separate bar area, a 60 seater restaurant, small lounge area, the snug and a double fronted Victorian conservatory overlooking an enclosed garden ideal for the children to run riot! Recently taken over by drew Alexander and his family, his aim is to encourage a more relaxed, family friendly environment whilst retaining his very high standards in food. a wealth of experience and his supportive team offer dining a little different from the norm but equally as wholesome and kind on the pocket. The restaurant offers a more experimental approach to food, with its tag line ‘food..played with’ drew has used his experience to create dishes, we all know and love, that have been played with, modernised and arguably improved! However drew has kept one much loved tradition, in his approach to desserts, ‘grannies kitchen’ offers heart warming desserts just as granny used to make, no frills just tasty, traditional puddings.
