The Dolphin is a beautifully restored 1820 ale house which stands on the site of the old whitchurch turn pike, originally owned by a local brewery trouncer & co.The Dolphin has always provided a service to local workers originally from the local flaxmill and near by canal and now serves great pints to its local community and visitors alike.The pub takes its nautical name from the Victorians odd sense of humour as the pub was sat near to the Shrewsbury canal.
