Detailed Information

The Duke Of York is an outstanding Inn, situated in the village of Stainland, west of Huddersfield. The Duke Of York started life as three cottages built in the mid 1700’s as servants quarters for the manor house across the road. The pub was converted in the early 19th Century to create a large and impressive public house. They serve a full selection of draught beers, wines and spirits for your enjoyment. The Interior boasts a striking and comfortable decor and furnishings with a mix of traditional and contemporary elements, including a stone built bar, exposed brick wall and walls in a deep crimson. The dining area has wood flooring, stylish seating and floor to ceiling windows, which over look the decked beer garden and fantastic views of the Scenic countryside. To keep all hungry customers happy, the pub serves a delicious pub grub menu between the hours of 6pm-9pm everyday, 12pm-2pm Wednesday-Saturday and 12pm-9pm on a Sunday. No guest of The Duke Of York will ever go bored, as they have a free quiz night every Tuesday night, with a free supper and prizes available.
