The Black Bull is Haworths most famous public house, standing in the little cobbled square at the top of the steep main street. They serve a full selection of draught beers, wines and spirits for your enjoyment. The pub was frequented by Patrick Branwell Bronte (brother of the famous three sisters), where he would drink excessively, until he died of Tuberculosis in 1848, aged 31. The Black Bull itself still houses  Branwells Chair. The famous favourite chair used by Branwell during his many visits to the pub. A comfortable and cosy setting makes this pub suitable for all, and children are very welcome until 8pm. During the summer months the pubs beer garden is a great place for customers to relax with a refreshing pint and light bite to eat. Small functions can be catered for in the pubs restaurant, catering for up to 40 guests, this is a great place for any party.
