The BoatHouse is on Hardrian Official walk , first pub west 5 miles west of Newcastle upon Tyne, on the river. Original Stone Building was built in late 1700 under new management. River views from all areas. There is Two beer gardens and a huge decking area. Steeped in history regarding the great floods of Britain from 1771 – 1852 all markings engraved on the outside of the pub on the brick walls are still there. Local world class Scullers 1842- 1871 Regatta. Still currently running.
