The Gate Hangs Well is at the northern edge of the village close to the Fosse way. They have two sides to the Bar area firstly an open bar area with seating for 30 which is also used as an overflow for our very busy Restaurant and a snug area, which is self-contained, seating 24, and is used for eating. They serve a full selection of draught beers, wines and spirits for your enjoyment along with a lovely range of soft drinks for all you non-drinkers and drivers. Their 42 seated restaurant is open 12pm – 2.30pm daily & 6pm – 9pm in the evening Monday – Friday, Open all day Saturday 12pm – 9.30pm and 12pm – 9pm Sunday and serves a delicious home cooked, a la carte menu; try the Homemade Fisherman’s Pie with Salmon, smoked Haddock, Cod, & Prawns bound together with cream, topped with a puff pastry lid,Simply served with fresh Caesar Salad, how can you resist!
