The Greyhound, Eton Wick is a friendly local village pub. Unlike many local pubs casual visitors are sure of a warm welcome. We have three bars, including a cosy Snug. We have plenty of outside seating, including tables and chairs under the pergola. We do not have a separate restaurant, but we do serve excellent bar food – every day. We have a separate Function room for hire, and are proud to have one of countrys few remaining Skittle Alleys in our converted barn. We can cater for your function or you can self-cater if you prefer. Looking for a party venue? Somewhere to hold a reception? An off-site business meeting? We have a pretty Function Room available to hire. Housed in the adjacent converted barn, the Function Room has pretty exposed oak beams. It is suitable for up to 60 people. For special occasions we can decorate the room for you, or you can choose to decorate it yourself. You can decide whether to select from one of our buffet menus or discuss your individual catering requirements with Julie. Smaller groups (up to 15 people) can opt to choose from the normal bar menu. You can even opt to hire the Function Room and provide your own catering – but please remember that only drinks purchased at The Greyhound can be consumed on the premises. If you hire and have one of our buffet menus (minimum 15 people) then the cost of hire is included. If you hire and have less than 15 people, or choose not to have one of our buffet menus, then the cost is £25 per hour. Although we welcome children attending family functions, we do not cater for children’s parties. Looking for a group evening activity? Why not try Skittles at the Greyhound? We have one of the few remaining skittle runs in the country, housed in the adjacent converted barn. The Alley has its own seating, and can accommodate 40 people comfortably. We offer a choice of four scrumptious buffet menus, although if nothing takes your fancy we are happy to discuss your own suggestions. For parties of less than 15 you can hire the alley and select food from our standard bar menu. If you opt for one of our buffet menus and your party is a minimum of 15 people, then the hire of the alley is included. If you have less than 15 people, or choose not to have food, then the charge is £5 per head. Although we welcome children attending family events, we do not cater for children parties. So whether its a quiet drink or a day out with the family your looking for the Greyhound is the place to be.
