The Minnis bar is a local community pub in Kent. They serve a full selection of draught beers, wines and spirits for your enjoyment along with a lovely range of soft drinks or those non-drinkers, drivers and children. At The Minnis, the proprietors, management & staff have a common interest; They want their customers and clients to have a great time, in a relaxed atmosphere with creative food and friendly service. They also have disabled access. Located on miles of sandy beach, the restaurant has fantastic views over the Blue-Flag awarded Minnis Bay, the North Sea, and you can see the towers on the fort at Reculver, where the Barnes-Wallace’s bouncing-bomb was tested. In the evening, as the sun-sets, the skies look stunning, with a myriad of colours that have been painted by artists many times over the years, most famously JWM Turner. They host a range of live music events, in the bar, restaurant, the upstairs dining area and outside on the green in the summer months. Our friendly staff are always on hand to help make your visit an enjoyable one, so come along, relax and enjoy yourselves at The Minnis Bar & Restaurant.
