The Roebuck is an award winning inn situated in the leafy village of Mobberley. It is a Grade II listed building dating back to 1708 and is the oldest inn in the village. In 2016 the Roebuck re-opened its doors after a lengthy closure. Mary Mclaughlin and Tim Bird acquired it and restored it over an 18 month period basing their restoration on a ‘petit hotel and bistro’ feel within a classic old English inn. With six rustic boutique bedrooms, terraces and tiered gardens, intimate bar and ‘neighbourhood’ bistro it has everything you need for the perfect escape……watch our short film to give you idea of what to expect.
The Roebuck Inn offers classic bistro dishes all freshly prepared by our Head Chef Andrew and his team. We are also open for Brunch seven days a week from 9am until 11.30am, see website for our Brunch Menu.
We have six ‘rustic’ boutique double bedrooms for your enjoyment which are ‘cosy’, ‘comfy’ or ‘Roomy’. All room reservations include our famous Cheshire Breakfast or Brunch if you want to rise a little later. Whether travelling on business or getting away from it all on ‘Staycation’, or simply visiting friends locally, the Roebuck Inn is the your perfect ‘home from home’. The Inn is open seven nights a week for overnight stays
