Each year this friendly village sees fierce competition when the green is taken over by the “Westleton Barrel Fair”. Landlords Rick and Jennie Powling offer a warm welcome to visitors old and new. Having taken over the White Horse in September 2006, Rick returns to this part of Suffolk.  Born on a farm just outside Yoxford, his parents Dick and Squibs Powling ran the White Hart in Saxmundham during his boyhood years. After moving to The Chequers at Sudbourne, Rick joined the Navy. Jennie lived in the Bentwaters and Rendlesham area of Suffolk until she joined Rick in Portsmouth after they married. They have a son, Chris, daughter Carolyn and 4 lovely granddaughters. Their ever growing team of loyal staff include Joyce the Cook, and Jimmy the Chef.  The White Horse offers a warm welcome to visitors. Inside the pub you will find ample space for drinking and dining. Besides the bar area, there are further tables for pub meals and a separate dining room. Jennie and Rick offer lovely rooms for Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the quiet Suffolk village of Westleton, located within the stunning Heritage Coast.
