Parking is limited in the old village, with its narrow cobbled streets. The White Lion has a space just below the pub, with a notice ‘Private 58 Towngate’.
Ample parking is also available in the car park at the Heptonstall Bowling and Social Club (donations requested), and in the small car park next to the Towngate Tearooms, both a short walk from the pub. On street parking is also available further up the cobbled street, beyond the village school.
