The Cambria is described by most publications as the ‘hidden gem’ in the heart of South London. Taken over by two good friends, Steve & Aimi in 2008 the pub went through its most major refurbishment ever, it threw open its doors in August 2008 to expose its bold red leather bar, the largest chandelier’s seen outside of Buckingham palace and an eclectic mix of antique furniture, mirrors and decorative pieces. The Cambria is famous for its amazing Sunday roasts and with the addition of the first floor bar now offers Sunday roasts and Cabaret, the Cabaret is hosted one of London’s top performers ‘Mzz Kimberley’ every Sunday. The beautiful garden is alive and buzzing in the summer and regular BBQ parties and Paella fiestas are organised to liven things up. He Cambria is a very busy vibrant pub, still well supported by its locals as well as becoming a distinctive destination venue. The food offerings are unique and made with great quality produce (all meat and vegetable products are hand picked in Smithfield and Covent Garden markets) and they wont break the bank, most main dishes are between £9-£12. If you have not visited yet, give it a try, for sure you will be back again and again. children & happy dogs (on a lead) are welcome.
