The Carpenters is a traditional 17th century Cotswold pub, set in the picturesque village of Miserden nr Stroud. Originally a carpenters shop, but changed to a pub around 100years ago retaining its traditional Cotswold look boasting a 5 foot ingle look open fire place, oak beams and pictures of Miserden on the walls. The pub is run as a family business by brothers Kevin and Nigel and Kevin’s wife Debbie. A warm welcome always awaits you to an atmosphere where you can simply sit and have a relaxing drink from a selection of our real ales or excellent wines or choose to have a meal from our menu. The menu offers three starter choices, six main courses and three vegetarian choices not forgetting five homemade pudding choices to finish off. All meals are cooked and prepared on the premises and ingredients are sourced from local producers where possible. Sunday roasts are available from twelve noon till four. We do have a smoking area towards the front of the pub, but still situated well away from the front entrances and exits. Why not come along and try our hospitality, feel assured you wont be disappointed.
