A warm and genuine welcome awaits you from the The Four Horseshoes, set in the beautiful Suffolk village of Thornham Magna under the charming management of Tom, Mark and Marion. The 12th century Inn has a wealth of original features including a roaring fire, 500 year old well (in the heart of the restaurant), low beamed ceilings and the odd friendly regular (possibly also dating back to the 12th century!)  Enjoy a local Suffolk Ale and get talking to one of the locals and hear tales of strange happenings in the Ghost Room. The Four Horseshoes is perfect for those who wish to dine in our cosy restaurant or sample local hand pulled ales sitting by the fireside.  Our chef sources quality local produce so please ensure you stay for some fabulous traditional home cooking. We have a large enclosed country garden for children to run about in on warm sunny days and for adults to relax in with their favourite tipple.  Be warned, naughty children  are sent to the ghost room for research!Dogs welcome, plus plenty of space in our large carpark for coaches, cars, bikes and horses!We offer bed and full English breakfast in one of our 7 individually styled en-suite rooms including our stunning bridal suite, with its luxurious canopied bed and beautiful unspoilt views of the Suffolk countryside.  Perfect for that romantic break. We have a new and exciting menu and can cater for large parties of up to 60 to intimate tables for two. We offer an extremely high standard of home cooked food from an extensive menu and on Sunday why not try our award winning Traditional Carvery. Be careful if you book the romantic stage coach table as many proposals have been made here, you may be leaving with more than a very satisfied appetite.
