The Ship Inn is a popular public house, located in the village of Brimscombe just off the A419, on the Stoud to Cirencester road. The old port and canal which is under renovation is but a few meters away, the port in its hay day was very busy and close by was the site where the Severn Trow’s were built thus the name The Ship Inn. The pub has exposed Cotswold stone as a feature in the bar and lounge; this gives it a homely feeling unlike its grey exterior having been a pub since 1755. The food is traditional, choose from one of the two menus, sit in the dinning area seating up to 40 or the bar, to enjoy the many home cooked delights on offer all cooked to order. Compliment your meal with one of the four real ales always available, or maybe a glass or bottle of wine.
