The Three chimneys is a local community pub situated on the A262 between Biddenden and Sissinghurst. During the seven year war there were prisoners from Sissinghurst castle that were allowed for exercise, to promenade around the area but were forbidden to go past the three ways. Les Trios Chemins became a name by the English as ˜The Three Chimney. This established public house and restaurant is set in a rural location, yet within easy reach od London and the channel tunnel. Interest in the surrounding area include the famous Natioal trust Sissinghurst Gardens, a five minute drive away; The antiquity town of Tenterden, Bodium castle and gardens, the spa town of Tunbridge wells- Also great for shopping. Kent is known as The Garden of England and boasts several excellent vineyards within easy reach of the public house. They serve a full selection of draught beers wines and spirits for your enjoment along with a lovely range of soft drinks for those non-drinkers, drivers and children. The Thre chimneys boasts about its extensive food menu of the finest quality food around ! Freshly prepared traditional classics and modern favourites are served to perfection everyday. They try to source the majority of the ingredients for the menu from local produce too. Dating from circa 1420, the building has all the natural charm you would expect; open fires and wood burning stoves are popular in the winter; old farming implements and hops adorn the walls in the bar and restaurant area. Merged in with these features are a pretty courtyard for outside dining and a beautiful conservatory with an outlook to the well- kept garden and surrounding fields.
