The White Swan is a traditional, family-run public house situated in the village of Eardisland on the B4529 between Leominster and Kington. The village is part of the Black and White Village Trail, a 40 mile journey around Herefordshire villages that are populated by timber framed buildings. The pub and restaurant dates from around the 17th Century, with additions in the 18th and 19th Century. The Swan boasts a large beer garden to the rear of the site, which is a wonderful place to sit and relax with a refreshing drink during those summer months, as well as an adjacent car park. There are beautiful open fires and lots of old beams giving the White Swan great character. With friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere, this makes it the perfect place to go, to have a quiet drink with family and friends. This destination food house has an impressive base of regular clientele who travel from quite a distance to enjoy the quality of food and service they have come to expect from this super venue. The food can be chosen from the main menu or the daily specials board and Thursday is senior citizen lunchtime special. There is a range of wines, real ales and draught beers to choose from at the bar, along with a lovely range of soft drinks for all those none drinkers and drivers. For all special occasions coming up why not join us at The White Swan and although there is no private function room all functions can be catered for along with a buffet. Occasionally the pub holds live music nights, karaoke nights and quiz nights for your entertainment, all of which promise to be fantastic nights, so be sure to ask a member of staff for the next event coming up. So whether it’s a quiet drink with family, or a lively night with friends you’re sure to have a great time at The White Swan.
